The placid village of Valdaora has lots to offer in both winter and summer. Also known as the “doorstep of the Dolomites”, the village provides a wide range of hiking possibilities as well as many other activities at the top of the Plan de Corones. One of them is the Messner Mountain Museum, which is popular well beyond the borders of South Tyrol. The giant swing and the tandem flights down to the valley are perfect for adrenaline junkies. On hot summer days, the outdoor swimming pool of Valdaora gives you the necessary cooling. More than 100 km of cycle tracks offer great bike tours with beautiful sceneries. Another highlight of Valdaora is the archery trail in the wild.
